There will be also contributed papers session and poster sessions, with posters on display throughout the conference. The conference will start with an « icebreaker » on Monday late afternoon, 01 September 2008. The scientific presentations are organised in sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. |

Thursday is a free day. The Congress organizers invite the participants to go to the renowned “Furnas” lake and taste at “Terra Nostra” the worldwide known “Cozido das Furnas”, a typical Azorean meal that is cooked with natural geothermal energy. |
|
|
This excursion will last the entire day, during which participants can discover the beautiful landscapes of São Miguel Island (for further details click here). |

They can also join one of the other suggested congress activities (go out to the sea in a whale-watching tour, a pedestrian tour or just dive in our warm Atlantic waters) or do whatever they want of course (on request)! For further details click here! |
