Home	AINIC - Atlantic Islands Neogene, 2nd International Congress           Welcome Note:           The Marine PalaeoBiogeography Working Group (MPB) and the Instituto Português de Malacologia (IPM) are happy to announce the joint organization of the 2nd Atlantic Islands Neogene, International Congress (AINIC) and the 5th Congress of the European Malacological Societies (CEMS), hold at Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island (Azores, Portugal) on 2-6 September 2008.           The previous edition of the AINIC Congress was held in the Azores, Portugal (2006) - 1st AINIC, 2006         Previous editions of CEMS Congress were held in Genoa, Italy (2000), Vigo, Spain (2002), La Rochelle, France (2003), Naples, Italy (2005).         For details on IPM and MPB visit the sections About MPB and About IPM.
